Kettlebell Training for Maximum Results-SE

If you’re new to the sheer power of Kettlebell Training to get into the best shape of your life, you may surprised to learn how efficient this method of training is … and how kettlebells can be worked into almost any schedule.

Kettlebell Training routines can help you get great results in less time if you follow these important guidelines:

Alternate Muscle Groups

Anyone who has done a lot of strength training or muscle building will tell you that the times of rest are equally important in giving the body room to rebuild itself stronger than before. This is actually good news when it comes to your schedule, because it means that you don’t have to kill yourself in order to get great results.

Split Routine Options

Working out seven days a week is not a good idea for anyone.  In fact, it’s downright dangerous and counterproductive.

The body will need at least one day to rest completely.

For heavy strength training, you’ll want to give each muscle 5-7 days of recovery; therefore, in order to work each of the muscle groups thoroughly, it is best to target them individually.

Perhaps something like:

  • MondayChest (25 minutes)
  • TuesdayBack (25 minutes)
  • WednesdayShoulders (20 minutes)
  • Thursday: Biceps, Triceps & Forearms (25 minutes)
  • FridayLegs (25 minutes)

For less strenuous workouts (for cardio, fat-burning or fitness), you can work your muscles more than once a week in varied routines … of course, still allowing for a much needed break.

For instance, you can work the chest and shoulders on Monday and Thursday. Then you work the legs and abs on Tuesday and Friday. Finally, you set aside Wednesday and Saturday for the biceps and the back.

While this is more intense, it can bring fast fitness results if you get an adequate amount of sleep and eat the right foods.

It is also a good idea to adjust the weights which you are using from week to week, starting with the lower kettlebell weights and building up.

There’s heaps of kettlebell training options available – we’ll post a number of articles and strategies on this blog and we also encourage you to check out some of our kettlebell dvd reviews for additional kettlebell fitness strategies.

Kettlebell training is a true game-changer!  Nothing beats the results!
